As part of the renewal process for UCB Canada's license for CKJJ the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) is asking for the public's input. CKJJ broadcasts in Belleville, Bancroft, Cobourg-Port Hope, Kingston and Brockville.
Please use this form to create a letter, which UCB will forward to the CRTC by the deadline of January 20, 2010.
In the comments section, this is a chance for you to tell the CRTC why UCB's license should be renewed.
Why do you listen to UCB Canada?
- Is it our family-friendly programming?
- Is it the quality music?
- Is it the excellent teaching programs?
- Is it a "safe" station for your children, free of questionable language and innuendo?
- Is it the Canadian content - in both music and spoken word - that you appreciate?
- Does the program line up with your belief system?
- Is it fun, engaging and companionable as you go through each day?
Feel free to share your thoughts openly - each letter is read by the CRTC.
If you would rather contact the CRTC directly with your thoughts you may do so by:
- fax to the Secretary General at 819-994-0218; or
- mail at: CRTC, Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0N2
