If you love looking at the night sky, and you happen to be an early riser, this weekend you'll get to see something really special - A PLANET PARADE!
For the last few months Saturn, Mars, Venus and Jupiter have all been moving closer. This weekend, between 5 - 5:30 a.m. you'll have a chance to see them all. As long as it's clear, take a look on the eastern horizon. The two bright stars you see along the horizon will be Jupiter and Venus. Then look diagonally up to the right and you should spot a slightly red star, that's Mars. And keep heading in that direction and you'll spot Saturn! Binoculars will help you see the planets better, but make sure you stop using them once the sun comes up.
More information on how to spot the planets, how to measure the sky and enjoy the view can be found here: https://www.cbc.ca/news/scienc...
