Make an appointment to visit the Chatham-Kent Museum to trace the courageous story of the National Unity Association's crusade for justice and their determination to end practices of segregation within Chatham-Kent and Ontario, and the ongoing fight for equity in Canada, by exploring the Let Us March on till Victory is Won: The Struggle for Racial Equity in Chatham-Kent and Ontario exhibit. Be sure to get hands-on at the interactive Imagination Station. Book a visit to the Thames Art Gallery to explore the I'll Be Your Mirror exhibit, a look into how family expectations shape intergenerational relationships. The A Small Good Thing exhibit re-imagines family history pulled from photo albums to take a trip down memory lane and family life.

Whether you're looking for indoor or outdoor, exciting or relaxing, there's something new for you to try with your family when you visit CK. Book a relaxing sleigh ride or an exhilarating trail ride at TJ Stables to take in the crisp weekend air. Or take advantage of the Free Family Fishing Weekend, no license required, by grabbing a pole and discovering the joys of Ice Fishing; just make sure to be careful and be aware of the ice conditions. If indoor is more your style, head over to Turns & Tales for an afternoon of board games, books and snacks. Try your aim at new projected targets, pool tables, and interactive arcade games at Valley Axe Chatham or get physical at Smash'N'Dash Rage Rooms; you're sure to find something to suit every family member!

What better way to shake up your family routine than by expanding their palate with International Cuisine? Be sure to pack your walking/hiking boots, snowshoes and skis when you come for a visit because Chatham-Kent. We are home to two incredible parks; Rondeau Provincial Park and Wheatley Provincial Park as well as many developed trails to explore throughout the Municipality.
