Rotary Harbourfront Outdoor Rink | Albert St Cobourg

Winterfest, sponsored by the Government of Ontario’s Reconnect Ontario grant and Loyalist College, will provide an exciting opportunity for residents and visitors to enjoy Cobourg’s shopping, dining and recreational activities. Cobourg’s Winterfest offers fun and free activities for the whole family to enjoy. Explore downtown Cobourg’s shops and eateries while viewing the beautiful ice sculptures on display along King Street.

Events planned for Saturday, January 28, include:

11 a.m. to 4 p.m.:

• Enjoy skating on the Rotary Harbourfront Outdoor Rink (37 Albert Street) accompanied by a DJ, with a special appearance from Sparky the Fire Dog
• Horse and wagon rides around town, departing from Rotary Habourfront Park
• Warriors Axe Throwing will be on-site
• Grab some take out at a local restaurant and make your way to a picnic table in the winter sunshine.

7 p.m.: Cheer on the Cobourg Cougars at their home game vs. Burlington at the Cobourg Community Centre! Tickets are available at the door.

7 p.m. to 9 p.m.: Neon skating party at the Rotary Harbourfront Outdoor Rink with a live DJ spinning the tunes.

9 p.m.: View fireworks over the harbour (rescheduled from New Year’s Eve).
