Check out these favourite tobogganing hills around the city!
Wasco Parkette – 101 Wasco Dr: small hill for little kids

Balsam Pit Park – 124 Balsam St: mid-size hill, somewhat steep
Hillcrest Park – High Street: steep hill
ICE SKATING
You would not believe how many places there are to skate in Thunder Bay! These outdoor rinks are all for recreational use only, not including hockey games, but your family can bring some sticks and a puck to pass around if you'd like.
It's a long list of skating rinks and ponds that are maintained by the Parks and Recreation division of the City of Thunder Bay. Check out a few near your home to find your family's favourite for frequent fun!
