The village of Hymers, close to Thunder Bay, Ontario, hosts every year a true classic Country Fair. This is the place to see the biggest pumpkins grown locally, horse and cattle shows, and to chat with the friendly people that come out each year to enjoy the real atmosphere of country living in Canada.

The people in the rural area around Thunder Bay are still proud of producing their own food and raising their own livestock. They still like to compete with their neighbours when it comes to who can bake the best pumpkin pie or who has the nicest looking rooster...just like it was many years ago.
